Abstract

This guide is a starting point for hosting a visit to your research laboratory or visiting a school. The activity is aimed at primary age pupils (P2-7, age 5 – 12) but could be adapted for secondary.

Aims
• Introduce pupils to scientific research in a hands-on and accessible way
• Explore the inputs needed for plants to grow
• Inspire the pupils about plants and plant research
• Show the pupils a professional scientific environment
