    Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

    Abstract

Astute professional judgement is essential when assessing suicide risk in order for the clinician to make effective decisions about the future care and management of a suicidal patient. To appreciate how clinical decision making is applied during a suicide risk assessment, a comprehensive literature review has been conducted and the results discussed, with reference to the seminal theories of clinical decision-making.
