    Abstract

This article considers briefly the consequences of possible Scottish independence for environmental law, looking at four areas: the legal tools available to Scottish authorities, the additional subject areas that would come under Scottish control, the impact on relationships within and beyond these islands and the question of what, if anything, a Scottish Constitution should say about environmental rights
