    Abstract

Irradiation of the composite glass containing spherical Ag nanoparticles by intense polarized fs laser pulses at 400 nm near to the SP resonance reveals a dichroism in extinction spectra caused by a splitting of the original SP band peaked at 413 nm in two polarization dependent bands.
