    Abstract

    Insertion of chest drain for pneumothorax either through open or Seldinger technique is commonly performed. Clinicians are expected to have a clear understanding of the indications, anatomical landmarks and procedural detail in order to achieve successful patient outcomes. This article will focus on the technical aspect of chest drain insertion.
