Abstract

Exhibition dates: 25 August - 14 October 2016

The Isla Center for the Arts at the University of Guam features the International Exhibition of Contemporary Print UOG 2016. The display includes a multiplicity of printmaking methods, processes and themes explored through the work created by 25 printmakers from around the world.

This display opens on August 25 and will be on exhibit through October 14, 2016. The Isla Center for the Arts is open to the public, free of charge, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Opening reception: Thursday, August 25, 6.00pm - 8.30pm.

Exhibiting artists: Katsutoshi Yuasa (Japan), Takeda Ritsuko (Japan), Motoda Hisaharu (Japan), Mariana Smith (USA) Michael Barnes (USA), Raluca Iancu (USA), James Pasakos (Australia), Antonietta Covino-Beehre (Australia), Mark Graver (New Zealand), Struan Hamilton (New Zealand), George Hajian (New Zealand), Aiko Robinson (New Zealand), Sanjay Kumar (India), Posi Prasad (India), Paul Harrison (UK), Scott Hudson (UK), David Faithfull (UK), Hasan Kiran (Turkey), Taida Jasarevic (Bosnia), Milos Djordjevic (Serbia), Ana Vivoda (Croatia), Irena Keckes (Croatia/Guam), Monica Baza (Guam), Ric Castro (Guam), and Lewis Rifkowitz (Guam).

This exhibition was curated and installed by Dr. Irena Keckes, Assistant Professor of Art at the University of Guam.
