Abstract
An examination of the policy in Scotland supporting investment in natural capital, particularly under the Woodland Carbon and Peatland Codes. In particular, there is consideration of the legal mechanisms currently being used to secure the long-term management of the land to meet the requirements of such projects and the challenges involved.
