Abstract
This book reflects part of my professional trajectory and intense experience in contexts of violence and social inequalities as a community psychologist and PhD student. It also arises from the belief in the individual and collective transformations that occur from the alliance between thought and action, theory and practice. This book present the universe of young people working in the drug trafficking. The direct association of these groups with the impossibility of change in their lives determines that they are nothing more than "lost cases" in the eyes of the society, including many professionals from different sectors. However, this study chooses to follow a contrary route when approaching the paths that can lead to the exit of this torturous labyrinth. My research and practical experience taught me that is possible to introduce a dimension of optimism into an always pessimistic scenario and shows that many of these young people have made and continue to make their way back of this criminal activity validating all the efforts of projects, NGOs, professionals and organisations working in this field.
