Abstract

Alzheimer’s disease trials have recruited slowly in the UK. Challenges include diagnostic delays, measuring biomarkers, and under representation.

To address these challenges the Dementia Trials Accelerator (DTA) has:

1. Recruited a new Community-Based Phenotyping Trial-Ready Cohort
2. Harmonised this new cohort alongside existing UK consented cohorts to OMOP Common Data Model (CDM)
3. Enabled cross-cohort search using the Cohort Discovery Service (CDS) to supportmore efficient screening for dementia prevention and early-treatment trials.
