Abstract
Using a novel task – the Moral Foundations Conflict Task (MFCT) – requiring intuitive tradeoffs between moral values, we determine whether this task reliably measures moral value endorsement, and if it predicts political orientation, right-wing authoritarianism and social dominance orientation. Our findings indicate that the MFCT captures systematic variance in moral foundation endorsement.
