    Abstract

Relay4Nature Baton is a sculptural baton created by British visual artist Tania Kovats for Relay for Nature, part of The Ocean Race programme. The baton was made to be passed between boats, serving as a symbolic object associated with commitments and intentions relating to the care of the oceans. Through this work, Kovats uses a single, portable artwork to draw attention to the connection between human activity and ocean health.
