Abstract
The painting is a humorous take on the original paintings of Richard III, which were not actually painted from life. The artist used as a 'model' the forensic facial reconstruction of Richard created for the documentary 'The King in the Car Park' by researchers at the University of Dundee's Centre for Anatomy & Human Identification.
