Abstract
An overview is given of several strategic issues in Scotland. Topics discussed include environmental liabilities, national plans, pesticides code, planning advice on fly-posting, waste management exemptions and river basin action plans. Under national plans topic, participation statement and strategic environmental assessment are described. For each issue covered, the particular periods of consultations as well as their implications are emphasized.
