Scottish strategic issues

    Abstract

    An overview is given of several issues in the Scottish arena. The issues covered fall under planning matters, historic environments, sustainable developments, strategic assessments, climate change, energy, guidance on contaminated land, strategic waste funding, and the 'Top 10' survey. Under planning matters, focus is on the Planning Bill, planning gain, and green belts. With regards to energy, possible sources at sea, micro-renewables, renewable demand, and biomass inquiry are emphasized.
