Abstract
Morphogenetic observations on the yeast-mycelial (Y-M) transition of Aureobasidium pullulans were strain-specific and considerable differences occurred between solid and liquid medium. Strains that showed maximum Y-M response in both liquid and solid media would be the most useful for kinetic and biochemical studies.
