Subclinical hypothyroidism as a cause of resistant hypertension

We report a case of a patient with resistant hypertension. Twenty-four hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring showed a bradycardia in conjunction with the hypertension, leading to a diagnosis of hypothyroidism.
