title = "Superquadras penthouses",
author = "Thomas Deckker",
note = "The unbuilt Superquadras Penthouses project was a study for using abandoned rooftop spaces of blocks in the original superquadras of Brasilia. The design drew on Deckker's interest in landscape design by treating the roofs of the blocks as landscape spaces, a theme explored also in other landscape studies and design projects. The project contained a figurative wall which defined movement around the apartment and used lightweight wall construction under a heavy roof to control temperature. The project had political aspects in bringing new social profiles to the originally uniform social class of the superquadras. dc.isbasedon: Jonathan Bell, Penthouse Living, Wiley 2005, ISBN 0470094494, pp 210-11 Thomas Deckker: Two Projects in Brasilia' RIBA Gallery 2 13-30 October 2003 ",
