Abstract

The synthesis at a homochiral a,a-disubstituted a,ß-amino-acid is described from norleucine using stereospecific alkylation of a homochiral oxazolidinone enolate; an optically active pseudotetrapeptide analogue of CCK-4 is prepared to show an application of such diamino-acids.
