    The tetraglycosyl monophosphate 1, hexaglycosyl diphosphate 2 and octaglycosyl triphosphate 3, which are fragments of the phosphoglycan portion of Leishmania donovani lipophosphoglycan, have been prepared using disaccharide H-phosphonates for construction of the phosphodiester linkages.
