Abstract

The End(s) of Art is a two-day Art and Philosophy symposium hosted by the School of Humanities and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, taking place from Thursday 31st March to Friday 1st April in Lecture Theatre 1 of the Dalhousie Building, University of Dundee. Exploring the notion of where art is going and the idea of its supposed end in the twentieth century, its speakers will explore issues pertaining to the end(s) of art in critical writing, photography, film, performance, sculpture, music and the market forces in public arts programming.
