Abstract

The Ignorant Art Schools Workshop, 20 March
Three members of The Ignorant Art Schools Research Group (supported by British Art Network) led by Sophia Yadong Hao (Cooper Gallery, University of Dundee), Dr Paul Stewart and Prof Sarah Perks (MIMA Research Unit / Teesside University) presented a special workshop for the CHEAD Annual Conference 2024 that gave a snapshot into the radical ethos of The Ignorant Art School. Through collective reading, making, watching, listening, and sharing the workshop explored collective working and radical pedagogical ideas towards notions of commoning.
