Abstract
In a broad survey of how the emergence of environmental law in Scotland has been affected by developments within the European Community, Colin Reid, Professor of Environmental Law at the University of Dundee provides an overview of how Community environmental law itself has developed and the extent of its influence. Some special features arising from the implementation and enforcement of Community law in this area are also noted.
