Abstract
Legal challenges to Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) hearings are possible, but the intentionally legal nature of the process is designed to minimise the likelihood of successful challenges (Symon, 2010). 'Legal nature' refers to the attempts to ensure procedural and legal fairness.
