Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

In the only comprehensive study of its kind, this book explores the space legislation of the United Kingdom, charting the history of the early United Kingdom space program through to the Space Industry Act 2018 and subsequent Regulations. In addition to an analysis of the licensing regime and its normative underpinnings, this work also presents a comparative overview of the United Kingdom’s domestic space legislation in addition to aspects of telecommunications law. There is also particular focus on the novel provisions of the legislation pertaining to human occupants and the intersection with other relevant instruments and common law principles.
