Abstract
The Unconformity brings together a collection of work which takes its imaginative cue from the liminal spaces within and around Perthshire. The collection predominantly explores a fragile folkloric relationship with the nonhuman and natural world. The works presented are mediums, giving voice to an otherly pastoral. The silent speakers. Situations observed on the periphery of vernacular events, transcribed as painting, sound, object, editions, text, collaboration, textile and neon in both an exhibition and limited edition publication.
