    Abstract

Brigid had a very well-received exhibition of her "Poem-Houses", paintings and book forms, "Threshold Markings", during The StAnza International Poetry Festival, in March 2010. Along with this new and retrospective body of work, inspired by poetry, a new short film, "hush", made in collaboration with artists Graeme Gerard Halliday and Pete Nixon was launched. Inspired by "Casting and Gathering" a poem by Seamus Heaney, in "Seeing Things" (Faber & Faber, 1991), it is a quiet reflection on the creative process
