Abstract

In Scotland, LEZs are now in operation in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Dundee and Edinburgh. Given the polls, Conservatives are unlikely to be in any position – north or south of the border – to interfere with LEZ or ULEZs. They are with us for the foreseeable future. Mainly because they are essential tools in fighting air pollution and its terrible effects on human health. Lots of claims were made against the ULEZ. But what are the facts surrounding LEZs?
