N2 - Exhibition Dates: 12 October 2019 - 11 January 2020 The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize project is led by founding Director, Professor Anita Taylor, and supported by the Trinity Buoy Wharf Trust. Selected from original artworks, the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize and exhibition has an established reputation for its commitment to championing excellence and promoting and celebrating the breadth of contemporary drawing practice. The open exhibition provides a platform for drawing practitioners to showcase their work alongside other leading artists and makers in the field. The exhibition is launched each year, and the awards announced in London before touring in the UK. While offering emerging, mid-career and established artists a platform to exhibit their work, the project has developed new insights into the role and value of drawing in creative practice today. The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2019 exhibition will be presented at The Salisbury Museum in Wiltshire from 12 October 2019 to 11 January 2020. Subsequently, it will return to Trinity Buoy Wharf in London where it will be available to view from 18 January to 2 February 2020. The exhibition will then tour to The Gallery at De Montfort University in Leicester from 21 February to 18 April 2020. A fully illustrated 152pp publication is available, published by Drawing Projects UK.
