Cooper Gallery hosts the 2024 edition of the prestigious annual open call exhibition the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize.

The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize is an annual exhibition of contemporary drawings supported by the Trinity Buoy Wharf Trust. Established in 1994 by Professor Anita Taylor, this open exhibition celebrates the role and value of drawing within creative practice and provides a forum to test, evaluate and share current drawing practice. The annual exhibition is open to all drawing practitioners, in the UK and internationally, who wish to submit drawings for consideration by the annually appointed independent selection panel.

From a worldwide submission of contemporary drawings, 94 drawings by 88 artists were shortlisted for the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2024 exhibition, and 21 drawings by 20 practitioners were shortlisted for the Working Drawing Award.

The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2024 is on tour from London to Salisbury, Falmouth, Dundee, and Manchester until October 2025.
