For 2023/24 CutLog presented VIEWPOINT screening programme at the SSA Annual Exhibition at the Maclaurin Gallery, Ayr, Scotland.
I am part of the CutLog Moving Image group, which comprises six artists and researchers who all work with digital film & video and have come together with the intention of creating new opportunities for artists to show moving image work across Scotland and internationally. CutLog are interested in exploring the variety of ways in which artists are developing their ideas through moving image in this present moment.
We have curated programmes for CutLog where they have been screened/exhibited at the Society of Scottish Artists Annual Exhibitions at the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh in 2019/20, 2021, 2022/23, 2023/24 as well as curate online screening programmes.
In both screening programmes we have included artists from Scotland and the wider UK although the majority of artists are from countries internationally, from Hungary, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Estonia, China, Brazil, USA and Canada
