Abstract

This project explores the interaction between renewable energy generation (solar, wind, and hydropower) and electricity demand through advanced modelling techniques. I analysed temporal variations in demand and renewable outputs, assessed correlations, and developed hydrological and cost-optimisation models to design a pumped storage hydro system. The work also involved optimisation using 'Galapagos' and evaluating environmental impacts. The final model provides insights into storage strategies, demand-supply dynamics, and sustainable infrastructure planning.
