Abstract

This large-scale mural was borne of collaboration between the Wellcome Centre for Anti-Infectives Research, the Stobswell Forum, and Open Close Dundee. Dundee City Council were also heavily involved too, as it was painted on a 7-storey wall of one of their care homes.

Following an open-call for artists, we were inspired to work with Lewi Quinn. His work is known for its vibrant colour palette. Having met our scientists and explored our labs, he painted the work over 10 days. It has already attracted considerable media attention.
